Here’s my set from Pulse Lounge on 11.05.09. It’s of the deep house variety and I played a bunch of tracks that I don’t think i’ve played out at all as well as some of my usual house staples that I normally play.
It took me about 15-20 to get warmed up and all things considered, it came out pretty good.
It’s about an hour and a half long and of course, totally live and on the fly.
On March 17th, I had the opportunity to play on thePaxahau/Movement webcast. It’s about an hour long and I just played all kinds of techno. Besides my usual gaffe’s, I think it came pretty good. Anyway, you can check out Paxahau’s Movement weekly podcast on Tuesday nights from 7p-9p on Paxahau.com

This is a live recording of when I played one of the Organic weekly’s at Porter Street back in May of ‘01. This is a 2 hour mix and it starts out a tinge sloppy, but tightens as the mix progresses. It’s of the deep house variety and I would probably still play a lot of the cuts that are on there, but not all. I happen to like the second half better than the first, to be quite honest.
No, there’s no tracklist. I’m not about to dig through my collection and try to remember what each record is.
I got a hold of my recording from DEMF this past may and wanted to make it available for download. The only problem is that due to a malfunction to the recorder, it’s only the last 45 minutes of my hour and a half set. From what I remember, I tend to think that i liked the first 45 minutes better, but I guess you had to be there to hear it. ha.
Here’s the mix. (Sorry, no tracklisting for this one)
I got around to making #8 in my series of mixes the other night and have just uploaded it this morning. This one features some cuts that I have put on some old mix TAPES as well as some other house cuts that I just wanted to put in a mix. It’s has it’s errors in true impromptu form, but in order to stay true to the stipulations of the series, I have to post it. Otherwise, the series won’t work.

Here is #6 in my Impromptu series of mixes. This one is going to require a bit of a story, though. About a year and a half ago, I had my basement waterproofed, but the company did a crappy job and didn’t cover up my stuff in the basement when they jackhammered through some concrete. Resulting in a ton of cement dust on top of my record collection as well as everything else in the basement. To make a long story short, they need to come back and do more work, so I’ve been slowly but surely digging out the records and cleaning them off to make them playable.
This mix is from a handful of records I was going through one evening in late August and decided to make a mix with them. I strayed from the deep dubby stuff for this one as well. It’s a little scatter brained, I think, but I was able to dig up some old favorites of mine.
It should also be mentioned that this mix was done using 100% vinyl. I did switch to Serato a couple years ago, but I did this one using nothing but the wax I pulled out from the archives.
